Unapologetic Intensity

The album’s inaugural track, “I Got Heaven,” sets a blistering pace with its potent blend of aggressive verses and soaring melodies.

“I went and walked by myself. Like a dog without a leash.

Now I’m growling at a stranger. I am biting at their knees.”

“I Got Heaven,” as described by lead singer Marisa Dabice, message was to become a beacon of acceptance and defiance. With its intention to merge the sacred and the profane, the song challenges societal norms and celebrates the inherent perfection of every individual.

Fearlessly confronting themes of Christian hypocrisy, Mannequin Pussy delivers a scathing indictment of societal norms with unwavering intensity. Throughout the album, tracks “Nothing Like” and “I Don’t Know You” ignite flames of existential inquiry and societal critique, leaving an indelible impression on the listener’s psyche.
